1) In June 2000 Mike Thomas Preservation became Approved Contractors for Triton Chemical Manufacturing Ltd, London.

2) On the 26th February 2001 Mike Thomas Preservation became Approved Contractors for Permagard Products Ltd, Bristol.

3) On the 1st July 2001 Mike Thomas Preservation also became a member of the BWPDA.

Being a member of the BWPDA organisation enables us to offer Guarantee Protection Insurance (GPI) to our customers. This operates by underpinning and providing an Insurance supported back up to our own companies guarantee.

The GPI was formed in 1983 by Members of the BWPDA who were unhappy with the quality of guarantees in the marketplace and is recommended by leading Architects, Surveyors and Building Societies.

If a problem develops with the remedial work completed on your GPI protected property and the original contractor is no longer trading, another fully qualified contractor nominated by the GPI will rectify the problem without further charge.

The GPI costs £73.50 per treatment [inclusive of Insurance Premium Tax at 5%].
